What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is a "hide-n-seek" treasure hunt game in which the players use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver to hide and seek containers ("geocache" or "cache") anywhere in the world.
A geocacher will hide a geocache, a waterproof container, that contains a log book (with pen or pencil) and some sort of treasures, then note the cache's coordinates.
These coordinates, and some other details of the location, are posted on a website like www.geocaching.com. Other geocachers download the coordinates from the website and look for the cache using their GPS handheld receivers. If you find a cache, you record your find in the logbook and online. You are then free to take an object from the cache in exchange for leaving something of similar or higher value, so there is treasure for the next person to find.

Under federal law we are not obligated to collect sales tax from shipments to customers outside of Nevada.

International Ordering

At this time, we only ship orders to addresses inside the Continental United States.

Shipping Costs

We ship all orders to continental US destinations via UPS ground services. Our shopping cart will automatically figure the shipping cost for you. The average price is $6-10 for UPS ground.

Tracking

All customers who place orders online will automatically receiving shipment and tracking notification via email after shipment has been made.

Warranty/Return Policy:

GPSSYSTEMSDIRECT.com offers a return period of 15 days from date of receipt. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all returns. Returned products must be complete in the original packaging and resalable. Opened and/or unsealed DVDs, CDs, and Mapping Software are not returnable unless defective. Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer. To obtain an RMA number, please send an email to RMA@gpssystemsdirect.com and be sure to provide the original invoice number, product being returned, and the reason for return. Returned merchandise may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%.
